"I spent a summer in Mahwah once."

That's what Beck admitted to on Saturday Night at a show in the Loews Theatre in Jersey City. He acknowledged that there wan't much to do there. But there'a a bit of life around here in Jersey and he got the crowd to give one of its many rawkus cheers for the night.

And while this isn't a YouTube only blog but these videos are mine and explain the show better. Beck rocked the Historical Old Theatre with maginificent acoustics while the crowd nodded along while laughing and being wowed by 5 puppeteers copying the act on the stage on their own mini stage and filmed it. It is quite amazing. Even cosutme and instrument changes. It is eerie how close the puppets were in the movements. It almost seemed that Beck switched it up sometimes to prove he wasn't a puppet himself. There must be some deep psychological inspection that could go on here but enjoy the videos instead.

Here's Beck and his band in their diner table setup Encore jam type thing. A little "Clap Hands" and a whole lot of "One Foot in the Grave", a true old school Beck classic:

Here's a very humorous lead into the encore of the Puppets hanging around J City:

and here's an old one I just got around to. Wayne From The Flaming Lips in the bubble.

I will get a real blog post up soon. Something worth reading. Hey kate.
